My son and I were on a road trip to drop him off to his new college in Utah, when I had my experience with Mobility Roadside Assistance.
I was 61 miles east of Austin, NV on Highway 50. My van developed a problem with the engine. I had turned around knowing that the next town east was over 75 miles away and that the nearest was behind me in Austin. There was no cell service with my phone and my son flagged a truck down from a mining company working in the area. He let us use his cell to call Mobility Roadside. They sent a tow truck that was a flat bed, winched me and my son on to the tow truck and ran us back to Austin NV where the garage diagnosed my problem, fixed it so we could get back on the highway again.
All together it took around an 1 1/2 hours to get the winch truck to us and another hour to get us to Austin, but I can tell you it was hardly a problem especially when no money had to come out of my wallet to pay the tow bill and it was in the hundreds I can tell you, because I saw the invoice I signed.
